60 Minute IPA from Dogfish Head Craft Brewers

By Rick

Football fans have heard the expression of a "60 minute man": a player that competes at his top level from start to finish.  It's appropriate that my favorite beer produced by one of my favorite breweries, Dogfish Head Craft Brewing Co., is aptly named 60 Minute IPA.  It's their top selling beer!

Check out their website; it's full of cool info.  (You can even learn how they came up with their cool company name!)  BTW: Don and I- along w/ our beautiful wives- visited the Lewes, Delaware brewery a few years ago and we were treated like we were one of the family!

The reason why 60 Minute IPA is apparent from its start to finish.  It pours a beautiful gold with a nice thick head- ready to lace with every quaff.  The Dogfish website explains their 60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped - more than 60 hop additions over a 60 minute boil .  (Now you know where they got the name for the brew!)

The hoppy aroma enhances the experience- especially for hopheads like me!  The taste is full-bodied and the mouthful delightfully effervescent.  (I know I've used the word before, but this beer is- "hop-a-licious"!)  As with all good brews- this beer can stand alone, but don't be afraid to pair it with some hearty foods.  It's a hearty 6.0% ABV, so drink responsibly!

Dogfish Head's 60 Minute IPA is a great beer to have with great food- while watching those great "60 minute man" games!

Cheers!
